How to Determine Your Hat Size
Ensure you choose the perfect size when buying one of our hats or caps by following the instructions below.
Option 1 - Measure
Step 1: You can use a soft tape measure to determine the length. Alternatively, you can use a length of string that you will then have to hold up to a ruler.
Step 2: Place the tape measure or string around your head, positioned mid-forehead and just above your ears. Make sure you hold the tape measure firmly, but not too tightly.
Step 3: Make a note of the measurement in centimetres or inches.
Step 4: Find your size on the chart below.
Choose the next largest size if your measurement falls between two sizes.
Option 2 - Compare
Another way to determine your hat size is to try on a hat and check the size. If you don't own a hat try on a hat next time you are visiting a clothing shop. Even though they vary depending on the hat maker, hat sizes are universal. You can refer to our size chart below if you need to convert a small/medium/large etc. to an actual hat size e.g. 6 ¾ .
Hats and caps are like all clothing items in that they will vary from one manufacturer to another. Slight differences will always occur, even between two of the exact same sized hats.
