Are you interested in weaving?
With the success of our first Taster Weaving Workshop we are hosting 3 more over the month of October.
Programme:
- Arrive to a 4 shaft loom warped with approximately a metre of yarn ready for you to start weaving.
- Choose a weft colour or colours from the yarns selected for you.
- Learn to wind your shuttle.
- Learn the basic twill weave.
- Learn a plain/tabby weave.
- Experiment with other combinations of the heddles.
- Try different colour combinations.
- Leave with a piece of fabric that you have woven, ready for a wet finish and then either display or keep on make into something!
